We're having our First Annual Christmas Craft show on November 22nd, from 9am to 3pm, and all proceeds are going to the Building Fund!
We need Crafters of all kinds! We are also looking for anyone who would like to donate gift baskets or gift cards, quality handcrafted items or professional services to be used in the Silent Auction at the conclusion of the craft show.
We also need volunteers to serve in several different capacities, including set up, break down, welcoming, kitchen help, baked goods, silent auction help, advertising and what ever else comes up.
To register for a table, see the sign-up sheet on the Fellowship Table. Watch the Hope Church "Weekly Calendar and Upcoming Events" for up to the minute details!
Also, below is a link to a letter that asks local businesses to donate items or services for our Silent Auction. Please print copies of the letter and give them to local businesses, or to your employer, or to ?????
Each week, Hope Church sends a "Weekly Calendar and Upcoming Events" emailed newsletter - you can also get that same information right here on the Newsletters and Calendars page of the Hope website.
If you are not already a subscriber and would like to receive this newsletter in your email, just click below and fill out the subscription request. All the upcoming week's events, activities and opportunities are listed, plus you can read about other future "Hope Happenings" that you will want to put on your personal calendar!

Anyone interested in trying to lose weight, or even just manage their weight, is invited for a confidential weekly weigh-in each Sundays immediately after the second service. Paul and Carole Yost offer some personal insight on weight loss and can help you achieve your goal, whether it's 10 pounds, 50 pounds or just to get back into the "little black dress" or your favorite jeans.
The Yost's will be available after the second service in the toddler room. Participants will be given a personal goal card and suggestions on how to accomplish your goal. It's not a meeting, it will only take a few minutes and is relatively painless!
Pastor Ken DeWalt's newest Real Christianity Classes started meeting on September 23rd - but he's already taking reservations for the next class!
The Real Christianity Class is a course consisting of twelve 90 minute sessions, and Pastor Ken teaches about Jesus Christ and how we all, and YOU personally, can relate with Him.
Anyone who has taken the class will tell you that this class is mostly about defining the relationship between you and God - Pastor Ken leads the class and teaches both self and God discovery.
While this is our Hope Church "new member" class, there is absolutely no obligation to ever join Hope Church.
The Real Christianity Class is not just for persons seeking to become members. Pastor Ken welcomes any Hope Church members who have never taken the class to take the class now and "learn afresh who it is we worship, and how."
If you're interested, or if you have any questions about Hope's Real Christianity class, or would like information about future class dates, please see Pastor Ken.
Hope Church broadcasts selected events "live" via satellite on the big screens in our worship center. Unless otherwise noted, these events are always free, but a free will offering may be taken.
Free blood pressure testing is available to everyone immediately after the 10:45am worship service on the first Sunday of each month.
Jan Birkins, an RN who is a member of Hope Church, has volunteered to conduct the tests - so if you want or need your blood pressure checked, she'll have a table set up near the drums at the front of the sanctuary. There is no need to sign up - just show up!
Safely and securely automatically deduct your tithe to the General/Current expense account, and/or offering beyond the tithe to the Capital Campaign/Building Fund. You can order up to four debits per month, using the available debit dates of the 1st, 8th, 15th or 22nd of each month.
There is no cost to you or Hope Church for this service.
You can view and print a "Direct Payment Authorization" form by clicking on the link below, or this form will also available on the sign-up table in the entrance hallway at church. If you have any questions, please see Mike Mack.
