Thank you for visiting the Hope Church website - you are cordially invited to tour our church's website and find out a little bit about our church and our church family. We're just off Highway 422 in Douglassville, and Earlville is very close to the church. In fact, several members of our Hope Church family live or work in Earlville.
You can click on our "Maps And Directions" page to see just how close we really are to Earlville.
If you're looking for a church whose members truly worship God, a church where everyone is excited about Jesus, a church where great music and singing honors and praises God, a church where inspired preaching teaches Biblical truths, a church where prayer is a high priority, a church where Christian education and fellowship are of great importance, a church where adults, young adults, "not-so-young" adults, teens and children all worship the risen Lord together, then perhaps Hope Church is exactly what you are looking for.
We're a rapidly growing church, and not just in number of members and attenders - we're also growing in faith, in knowledge and in our individual relationships with the Lord. People in Douglassville and neighboring communities like Earlville are discovering what a joy it is to worship with others of like precious faith at Hope Church.
Earlville residents, we encourage you to join us in a Hope Church Sunday Celebration Worship Service soon and "catch the spirit" yourself - you'll find our excitement and enthusiasm for the Lord is wonderfully contagious!
Guests are always welcome at our "Casual, Lively, Relevant and Real" Worship Celebrations at 9am or 10:45am on Sunday - there's always room for more!
Each Sunday our Praise Team and Worship Band lead the congregation in contemporary praise songs, readings from the Bible and prayer, and we're blessed each week by Pastor Ken DeWalt's scripture-based messages and teachings from God's word.
We have great programs for kids, and your kids will surely love our Children's Church. We also have Sunday School groups and classes for all ages.
We Hope to see you on Sunday (see the "Quick Facts" section below for more information). You're invited to "catch the spirit" and come grow with us!
Hope Church is a very friendly United Methodist Church (UMC) congregation, very spiritual and enthusiastic about our faith in God, the Holy Spirit and our Lord Jesus Christ. Our Sunday Worship celebrations are very contemporary and "Casual, Lively, Relevant and Real" - many people drive right by a lot of other churches in Berks County, Montgomery County or even Chester County just to worship and praise God with us in our spirit-filled atmosphere.
We're in Amity Township (Douglassville 19518 for mailing purposes) in what we think is a beautiful part of southeastern Pennsylvania, in Berks County, right on Highway 422 just a few miles west of Highway 662.
We have plenty of off-street parking at Hope Church, and we're an easy drive for anyone looking for a church who is coming from nearby towns like Birdsboro 19508, Exeter 19606 or Exeter Township 19606, Pottstown 19464 or 19465, Stowe 19464, Mount Penn 19606, Reiffton 19606, Reading 19601, 19602, 19603, 19604, 19605, 19606, 19607, 19608 and 19609, Kenhorst 19607, Shillington 19607, Wyomissing 19609, West Reading 19611, Gilbertsville 19525, Boyertown 19512, North Coventry 19465, Lower Pottsgrove 19464, Upper Pottsgrove 19464, Royersford 19468, Sanatoga 19464, Spring City 19475, Limerick 19468, Earlville 19519, Greshville 19512, St. Lawrence 19606, Blandon 19510, Yellow House 19518, Jacksonwald 19606 and Oley 19547.
